Why do we only use a fraction of Microsoft?

Are we afraid of Microsoft? No, of course not. Then why do we only use a fraction of Microsoft? Seriously, is that right? Did you know that Microsoft Office 365 comes with ‘Teams’, a very simple yet comprehensive video and collaboration tool? Did you know that Microsoft Dynamics comes with a customizable ERP in the cloud? Or that data for your employees could be of much higher quality, thanks to a new ‘Unified Interface’ CRM web platform? You probably didn’t know that.

Why do we only use a fraction of Microsoft?

Working remotely without feeling remote

Webinar session participants were able to experience this for themselves. The Microsoft Teams sessions and other functionalities were presented via… Teams. Due to the Covid-19 virus measures in place, the initial breakfast session was replaced by a webinar. This made for the ideal opportunity to immediately put theory into practice.

Avento provided a support line for all participants. Anyone not online fifteen minutes before the start of the session received a message asking whether they were experiencing any difficulties or problems. The session was a great success. Because no physical relocation was required, the participants – from the industry sector to the government – could follow the webinar effortlessly while respecting the social distancing rules.

Everybody on board

Microsoft Teams is accessible to everyone. You don’t have to have a Microsoft account to participate in a conversation. The meeting’s host will send out an invitation, and you can sign up directly and participate in the call. That’s all it takes.

Collaborate from any location

Within Microsoft Teams, you can use SharePoint – the platform that facilitates teamwork. You no longer need to start searching endlessly for files. Because, thanks to SharePoint, it’s now easy to view, share and edit all your Word, PowerPoint and Excel files in real time. Working together has never been easier.
